Container flow template planning in seaport railway terminal with on-dock rails

چکیده

With the construction of on-dock rails, terminal has become an interface between maritime transport network and railway network. Terminal operators are facing some new challenges like more complicated operations scarcity storage spaces. To address this issue, managers should improve operation efficiency terminals by adjusting yard templates equipment deployment plan, which not been well studied. fill gap, we study transfer flow template planning problem in seaport terminals, a multi-objective model that integrates decisions on volume, template, plan is proposed. Then, group numerical experiments conducted using Ningbo Beilun Container as example to analyze effect different management objectives, pattern influence handling capacities. The results show optimized performs when maximizing throughput primal objective. It also reports stacking imported containers blocks near seaside could help reduce cost time consumption terminal. Moreover, location rails shows significant template.
